Luisandro Angelo Moreno was born in Gibraltar on the 20th of December 1980. Within Luisandro’s veins run a variety of ethnic cultures. Briefly, his great grand parents from his mother's side of the family were Italian immigrants who moved to Spain where they had a daughter, their daughter then went on to get married and had a girl which she named Sonia Anita. Seventeen years later Sonia Anita met a southern Spanish man named Luis Moreno, born in La Linea de la Concepcion (Spanish Coast) and got married a year later in Gibraltar on June 1961. As a result of this marriage they had three children, Maria Elena, Michelle Ana and sixteen years later Luisandro (“Chico”) would be born.
During his infancy Luisandro demonstrated exceptional talent in sports, especially football. He was considered and titled "Sportsman of the year 1993" of his country. Luisandro broke records on high jump and 100 meter sprints and represented his school nationally.
Luisandro’s great ambition soon led him to London in September 1997 (at the tender age of only 16) where he would stand more of a chance of fulfilling his great hunger for success. During his time in London he worked and studied as an apprentice accountant whilst also satisfying his great passion for sport. At the age of 17 (1998) as he was walking through Earls Court road (London) an Italian scout named Gian Luca Bianco noticed his great potential and opened Luisandro’s eyes into a new world of fashion and modelling. However, Luisandro was a very traditional and respectable young man and didn't really take much notice and therefore decided to continue with his studies and career as an apprentice accountant.
Two years later Luisandro decided to switch careers from accounting to Information Technology (IT). It was not until early 2001 when Luisandro was attending a fashion exhibition he was approached by a photographer called Mark Escudetto (Fashion Photographer) who advised a still inexperienced Luisandro to contemplate a career in the world of fashion and acting. At the time Luisandro still did not take the proposal too seriously but nevertheless he did consult his family and agreed to do his first photo shoot ever with Mark Escudetto. This was the initial step Luisandro made in his modeling career and it would be a decision that he would never forget. As a result of these preliminary photos Luisandro then went on to sign his inaugural contract for a modeling agency in London on November 2001.
There were incessant advertising jobs in the world of fashion. Due to his extraordinary talent in sports he took part in a number of high profile sports commercials. In one particular advert he achieved one of his life long dreams which was to work with his soccer celebrity heroes including Raul (Spain) Roberto Carlos (Brazil) and David Beckham (England). This commercial was for "Pepsi" and was an advertisement, which was filmed in Almeria (Spain), and shown all over Europe.
On March 2003 Luisandro was commissioned to do a photo shoot for an international newspaper (Financial Times). However, little did Luisandro know that these photographers were two of the most influential in their field in London, namely Edwin Low and Jonathan Anderson who paid extra special attention to Luisandro. Luisandro became more determined to concentrate and focus on modeling whilst maintaining his secondary career in IT. Gradually his modelling career began to rise achieving work for various commercials and photo shoots for significant magazines. However it did not stop here, Luisandro’s thriving determination led him to the United States in October 2003 after a talent scout named Nurch Novinger noticed a striking amount of potential in his personality and looks and wanted to represent him in the “American market”.
